My clients include numerous pioneers in the health and wellness field, including Dr. Reid Winick- Dentistry for Health, Raw Guru (and supermodel) Carol Alt and Raw Essentials Skin Care.

I’ve recently become very interested in Eastern medicine as well. It began when I got acu-pressure for the first time. I couldn’t believe how much it transformed me! So I’ve become much more open to other, non-Western health alternatives.

OK officially adding you to my blogroll! I fought an auto-immune disorder all through college and got to the point my only choice was major surgery. I decided to try different approaches and did accupuncture for a couple of months and-what do you know?-my white blood cell counts came up after years of being low. Eventually I had to have the surgery and western med. won out, but I am now a believer in balance between the two. Practices that have been around for thousands of years have longevity for a reason! I will absolutely be stopping by again, I’m really interested in all this…nice work 🙂

Your take on health is very thought provoking. I’m interested to read more. I love that you’re a dancer! I owned my own dance school for 5 years and taught all types of dance to ages 3 and up. I loved it. When my husband and I got married, I decided to shut it down because he got a great job over 5 hours away and we’re always up for an adventure!

    Hi Jocelyn,
Been reading and loving your blog – I’m a vegetarian living in NYC – and thought you might be interested in a product I’m working with.

It’s called HARD Nutrition – it’s a functional water system that includes a daily dose of vitamin and mineral supplements right IN the cap of the enriched water beverage. The drinks taste great, and more importantly provide adequate hydration to fully dissolve and digest the accompanying vitamins.

I’ve tried for YEARS to get on a preventative supplementation regimen, and I keep buying bottle after bottle of vitamins that expire when I fall off the horse. But with these drinks (there are a bunch of varieties, each targeted to a different thing — for energy, to recover after a workout, for mental acuity, even to recover from a hangover (!)) I know I’m getting a good balance of what my body needs, all in a one-stop shop.

I’d love to send you some of the drinks to try out – I think you’d really like them!

Looking forward to reading more from you on health & wellness. I’ve always been into healthy eating and fitness but lately I’ve been focusing more on treating my body from the inside out through a plant-based diet and holistic nutrition. I think I’ll find some inspiration here 🙂
