As a pseudo-vegetarian (I rarely eat meat) I’m always looking for ways to make sure I’m getting enough protein in my diet. My morning smoothie is the perfect way to easily add this in so I was excited when OLLY reached out to me about trying their protein powder. I’m VERY picky about the taste of protein powders as they can easily ruin a smoothie so was a little nervous when adding this to my daily smoothie routine but I can announce– it’s delicious! The perfect touch of sweetness (real not artificial!). My current favorite is the Vanilla flavor but I’ve been eying the Cafe Mocha ; ) but they also have a variety of fun flavors including Pure Chocolate, Peachy Mango, Creamy Strawberry, Salted Caramel Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter. I made this beauty using OLLY as my base and then adding almond milk (homemade!), a banana, handful of blueberries, lacinato kale, maca powder and topping with granola, more blueberries, chia seeds and almonds. DELICIOUS.
